Reaching Tucson

By Air:
Flying into Tucson:
Tucson international airport is served by 12 airlines and many of them offer non-stop flights from major cities in the USA (Chicago, Dallas, SanFransisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Minneapolis, New York, Atlanta, Denver, Seattle, Salt Lake City to name a few).
Check this website for complete city listings from which there is a non-stop flight to Tucson.
The Marriott hotel is located (~20 minute ride from the airport) near the University of Arizona. FSPRIII has negotiated with Arizona StageCoach to provide shuttle service at a discounted price between Tucson International Airport (TIA) and Marriott hotel. Flying into Phoenix:
Tucson is about 100 miles southeast of Phoenix and readily accessible by interstate freeway I-10. If flight ticket prices are higher for flying into Tucson, you may want to check airfare for flying into Phoenix and then renting a car or using airport shuttle (~$30-35, one way, per person) to reach Tucson.
This option might work well for groups willing to share the cost of land transport from Phoenix to Tucson. For example, if you are traveling as a group of 3 or more, you can receive Arizona shuttle's special group rates:
3 - 4 pax $25 (+$4.00 fuel surcharge) per person
5 & more $22 (+$4.00 fuel surcharge) per personNote: The shuttle will stop at University 501 N. Park Ave. (Map) which is about few blocks southwest of Marriott.

By Land:
Tucson is located ~100 miles southeast of Phoenix. Tucson is readily accessible by road (I-10).

If you are driving to the conference in your own or rented vehicle, please contact Ravi (rpalaniv@ag.arizona.edu) ahead of time to get parking permits. You can park your vehicle in a garage owned by University of Arizona, right across from the Marriott hotel.
